April Wrap Up

Here is the April wrap up.....

Spring had sprung here!!

It's officially spring! We spent hours in our backyard with cold beverages and comfy chairs watching our babies run with grass stained feet and sweaty foreheads. Laughing and playing and jumping and loving every second of it . We caught up. Felt the breeze as the sunset behind us. I love this time of year and I love the people that gathered in our backyard tonight.... :)

Had a park day with these two guys and a chic fil a ice cream date after :)

We are in the heart of baseball season :) I love Saturday mornings!

Its been so incredibly hot the play room has been getting a lot of action lately. 

We celebrated a birthday for two very special little girls! The Wall girls turned 5 and 7 :) We had a blast bowling, playing arcade games and making memories! Hensley even hit the jackpot several times! He walked out of there with some pretty cool prizes!

One Friday...we decided to just have some sugar :)

I totally walked in on Hensley singing "Jesus Loves Me" to his toys this week! I would have loves to have caught it on video :) 

Picking flowers for Mommy has become a daily ritual :) I love it!

Sometimes I'll snap a photo with my iPhone and I'll think.."This is one I'll cherish FOREVER". This is one of those pictures. 

We had an afternoon at the park with Uncle Brandon and it was so stinkin fun! 

And then there are days that I get overwhelmed and it all disappears with a hug from this guy.

Oh Spring...how we love you!

Andy's been working so much lately and we finally got an evening to hang out where he wasn't completely exhausted. So we went to a local outdoor shopping center for some dinner and fresh air. It was so nice. 

These next few pictures make my heart sing :) 

You know those moments in time when you look at your child and realize, "Dang! They got BIG!", well I had one this month! BOO! I look at him so many nights sleeping soundly beside me and wonder what i ever did to deserve him. His love for life and for me and his daddy is amazing. He wakes up everyday with a huge smile on his face ready to take on the world! He is stubborn and he is funny. He is strong and he is sweet. One day he will no longer lay here beside be every night. He is growing by leaps and bounds and my time with him seems to fly by faster and faster as each day passes. He puts air in my lungs, love in my heart, a sparkle in day, a smile on my face. He provides so much proof of GOD's love for me.

iPhone Weekly Photo Dump!

A look at this past week...or two weeks....cause I am SLACK!

The past few weeks the weather has been pronominal! We have spent many hours outside soaking it all in :) 

With the arrival of warmer weather and lots of sunshine also brings the arrival of Hensley's freckles!  Or angel kisses as he calls them!

Andy had to work last Saturday so we took that opportunity to drag  bring my mom along on our little Saturday adventure. We had a baseball game and then an afternoon full of bouncing at Safari Nation! 

My mom made us eggrolls this week! They were AMAZING~

Last Friday night we took advantage of a little family time. Andy had to work all weekend long so we went out Friday night for dinner and some beautiful evening sunsets at Alamance Crossing! The weather was perfect. We shopped. We ate. We played! 

I started reading this at my grandma's this week. It's an awesome book.

Hensley has a new obsession....Chocolate Ice Cream!

Many nights Hensley is totally exhausted. Playing outside non stop in the afternoons and the warm sun leave him just drained!
